Our dedication to integrative psychiatry is based on extensive professional experience and a heartfelt commitment to holistic care. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. This philosophy drives our approach to uncover the underlying causes of mental health issues.. We employ a variety of tools to achieve this, including functional lab testing, tailored nutritional guidance, plant and herbal remedies, psychotherapy, and medication when necessary. Each element is carefully chosen to support comprehensive, individualized care, helping patients achieve and maintain true wellness.
As a doctorally prepared, dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of mental health clinical experience and expertise, I am deeply committed to integrating both conventional and holistic therapies to foster optimal health and well-being. My professional journey is deeply intertwined with my personal story—a journey that began in the colorful heart of Haryana, India, where I was nurtured within a vibrant cultural tapestry with roots in Punjab. Summers spent in Nigeria further expanded my horizons, enriching my appreciation for the interconnectedness of health, culture, and community. At the age of 14, I immigrated to the United States, where I embraced yet another layer of diversity, shaping a profound understanding of the many ways health and healing are perceived across the globe.
These experiences have instilled in me an unwavering commitment to serve patients from all backgrounds with compassion, respect, and cultural humility. At Wirsa Wellness, we are dedicated to walking alongside you on your path to wellness, ensuring that every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to honor your unique journey, preferences, and values. We believe that culturally informed care is not just a philosophy—it’s a promise to see and support you fully, wherever you are.
Through a thoughtful blend of pharmacology, psychotherapy, and integrative mental health modalities, we aim to empower you to reclaim your health and embrace a renewed sense of vitality. Education is at the heart of our practice; we strive to ensure that you are an informed and active partner in every decision about your care. Thank you for trusting Wirsa Wellness with your mental health journey.

I have been a practicing psychiatrist since 2005, serving individuals and communities in a variety of settings, working across public and private mental health systems.
My own health journey inspired me to look beyond traditional symptom management, leading me to integrate a variety of healing methods. My interests lie at the intersection of science, complementary therapies, culture, and spirituality. Drawing from depth psychology, I help patients reconnect with themselves, fostering compassion and resilience during life’s challenges. My approach is to offer a comprehensive plan based on individual needs, which may include medications combined with psychotherapy, supplements, and/or KAP.
I enjoy designing and implementing therapeutic programs and am excited to collaborate with the clinical director to design comprehensive treatment for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. In doing so, I am committed to help expand access to novel therapies and high-quality mental healthcare for underserved communities of the Central Valley.

As a nurse with 25 years of dedicated service in the mental health field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep-seated commitment to enhancing patient care. My professional path has been uniquely shaped by my life experiences, starting from my birth in Kumbo, Cameroon, through living in various cities across the country, to immigrating to the U.S. at the age of 29. These experiences have enriched my perspective and deepened my understanding of diverse health narratives, especially those of the African diaspora.
Having family back in Cameroon and a profound dedication to treating patients from the African diaspora and beyond, I am driven by a desire to deliver culturally sensitive and inclusive care. I believe in empowering each individual with the understanding and tools necessary to navigate their health challenges successfully. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a personalized touch, ensuring that care plans are not only effective but also resonate deeply with each patient, regardless of their background.
By focusing on optimal outcomes and patient-centered strategies, my goal is to help you manage your health with confidence and dignity. Together, we will work towards not just managing symptoms, but thriving. Your well-being is my priority, and I am here to support you every step of the way on your journey to better health.
